Once you’ve made the connection with your prospect, presented your opportunity, validated you and your company, simply ask for the sale! 

So many opportunities are missed simply because a person was too busy connecting and chatting, instead of asking for the business. 

You are looking for serious people to join and become a part of your team, don’t forget to ask. Don’t ever be temped to “lighten up” on the close my friend.

What the heck were you thinking?

If you were thinking you were having a bad day, you might want to think about how you are going to feel when you find out that you gave up a little too soon on your Business.

The only ones who truly lose are the ones who quit on themselves.

That being said, does that mean you shouldn’t quit repping a company even if you are going broke and a better vehicle comes along?

I’m certainly not saying that. Infact, whatever you decide to rep for the time being is your own decision.

The point is…

The high rank leaders will usually follow their money. If they realize people are dropping out of their team and going elsewhere, they will try to find out the reason.

2. The power is in the MID LEVEL leadership.
the masses will follow the mid level because most times, the mid level level leaders are the ones working in the field.

3. The high rank leaders will sometimes “jump” with their MID LEVEL leaders if a substantial
part of their organization seems like they are leaving and agrees to keep organization in tact.

4. There are 3 different types of leaders that jump to new deals.
1) The ones that truly build organically and take NO money or volume. (this is rare)
2) The ones that take money and/or deal

3 Things To Think About With “Paid Traffic”

You’ve heard everybody and their dog talk about paid traffic nowadays. Infact, the only way that you are going anywhere AT ALL with Facebook Pages nowdays are…PAID TRAFFIC.

Here are a few tips:

1) Do you have a system / program to TRACK & MEASURE your results?
If not, you are losing money with PAID TRAFFIC.

What’s your number?

sorry, it’s been a while since I’ve posted a Video for everybody.
But I finally recorded one today and placed it at the bottom of
this article.

I’ve been a little quiet online but VERY VERY busy with Business
and the everyday stuff.

So in my recent eMail to my list I talked about how a friend of mine
sat down 1 year ago, made a list of 100 people, recruited 1 person,
that one person quit after only a few days, but my friend still kept
at it.

He sat down 30 days ago and re-wrote an entirely brand new list
of 100 people.

He ended up recruiting 10 people from that list at the top package in
his company. Dozens of people from that list came in as customers.

Duplication. Overrated.

If you take a look at most top earners in any company, you’ll quickly realize that they are highly “un-duplicated”.

97% of the company reps couldn’t duplicate what the TOP EARNER is REALLY doing even if they tried.

From what I’ve observed, you need to take a good look at what actually works for your personality, your team, and in each marketplace.

The marketplace demands are usually quite different.

In nearly every MLM, you’ll hear the phrase “just follow the system”.

For most MLM companies, “the system” is virtually the same across the board. Most folks spend weeks or months trying to learn “the system” and the truth is, a majority of the high ranked leaders don’t know it 100% themselves…because they only care about.. WHAT WORKS.

Do you REALLY have influence?

Influence used to be one of those words people used when

referring to someone who was held in high esteem amongst
certain groups of people.
Nowadays, anytime someone is a slick talker with any type
of track record of past success they are automatically
referred to as “influential” by most people who don’t know
any better.
Let’s take a look at what influence SHOULD mean.
Bob Burg, author of “Adversaries Into Allies”
defines influence like this:
“On a very basic level, influence can be defined as the ability 
to move a person or persons to a desired action, usually within 
the context of a specific goal.  However, when accomplished 
correctly, this has nothing to do with cajoling, pushing or manipulating 
others. It does mean that you can consistently obtain satisfaction 
and reach your goals while building others; touching their 
lives in a very positive, value-based way.”

In order to move forward as an industry, we must understand the

true meaning of influence and build others, touch their lives, and 

provide a great amount of value in their life. 
Do you wish to have influence in your business? 
Do you wish to have influence in your company? 
Your Family? Your Job? 


Hangout to Succeed; How Does Google Hangouts Fit Into Your Business?


For the most part, you’ve probably heard of Google Hangouts and maybe have even been on a few hangouts yourself. I have to admit, the first time I saw Hangouts, I was a little confused as to why anyone would use Hangouts versus Webinar format.

Up until recently, I didn’t really see the big deal about Hangouts until I recently held one myself. I did a webinar using the hangout platform and it was a wild success.

The challenge with platforms like GotoWebinar and others like
It is that majority of your audience will need to download the software in order to see the presentation.

Chances are, most of your audience aren’t currently holding
Webinars on their own so they will have to download the software. If they don’t hit any snags on the download (and that’s a big IF) Process now all we have to worry about is keeping their attention throughout the presentation.

Skype and ooVoo must be downloaded; Facetime is only for iOS and OSX users. Google is for everyone. Google’s services, when combining Hangouts, GChat and Google Calling, which all flow easily together, offer all of the same features as Skype, Facetime and ooVoo, plus much more.

Google Hangouts: If your audience is a youtube subscriber (which ____ [number of youtube audience] are) they won’t need to download anything. In addition, they also have the
Option to download the mobile app to watch directly from their smartphone.

Visalus Creates “The Project 10 Challenge” / Body By Vi 90 Day Challenge Takes Backseat


I was on the Ambassador roll out yesterday while they were rolling out
the new Project 10 Challenge. I remember exactly a year ago I was sitting in
my living room talking to a few friends in the Business and telling them
that I felt strongly that the “Body By Vi 90 Day Challenge” was going to
be taking a backseat to Project 10 in some shape or form.


Well, it was simple. I just took a good look at the industry and how everybody
was implementing some type of 90 Day Challenge.

It was only a matter of time that Visalus would have to re invent the challenge
in some way, I personally think it was a strong move to move to a
more simple, laser focused message.

Cedrick Harris Joins OrganoGold

Confirmed. It’s OrganoGold.

I don’t know this 100% for a fact just yet, but the word on the street is that Cedrick Harris has joined OrganoGold.

Apparently, at the time of writing this article he is preparing to release his official
statement publicly about joining organogold and will be having a conference
call with the #1 earner in OrganoGold’s Compensation Plan, Holton Buggs.

Like I said, at this point this is just speculation but there is
one thing for sure, Cedric will absolutely kill it in OrganoGold.

He always does in whatever MLM company he joins.

The FaceBook Slap…and what to do about it.

I just wrote an article, shot a video, and posted a podcast within the last few days
about this particular subject. I said “some of these changes are pretty subtle
yet completely changing the online marketing world” on my YouTube Video.

As a couple of you know, Facebook has just recently changed their algorithm
that severely affects Fan Pages.

Ignite, a social media marketing company, recently did a study of 689 posts
from 21 big brand Facebook Pages and found that their audience reach had gone
down over 44%… In some cases over 88%!! YIKES!!

There is a lot of opportunity here despite these changes. There will also be alot
of missed opportunity as well.

The missed opportunity will be amongst those who don’t educate themselves fast
enough to roll with the punches and make the necessary changes.

As I’ve always said, if you are using tactics that were working just fine
3 years ago and depending 100% solely on that way alone, you are putting all
your eggs in 1 marketing basket and that has always been the most dangerous way
to market online.

This is the reason why learning some bulletproof principles of lead generation
can never steer you wrong. When you know how to generate leads within a few different
sources, you will NEVER see your traffic and leads go down to ZERO overnight like
many who put all their eggs in this Facebook FanPage basket are currently experiencing.

2 MAJOR TIPS on getting leads with your article, youtube video, or post.

Winning with Facebook & YouTube in 2014 (part 1 of 3)

Everyday, I get emails and calls from people who complain about how in the past, they’ve shot a few videos or posted an article on their blog and they didn’t see the kind of results that they were expecting.


This is usally when I have the “expectation chat” with someone.


Let’s put things into context and assume the conversation were about farming.  If one day, a farmer went out into an empty field and planted a few dozen corn kernels, would that mean he would have a few miles of corn when harvest season arrived??


Absolutely NOT.


It’s about consistency and frequency.


Let’s take a look at each of these words. According the dictionary, the word consistency means: firmness of constitution or character”


The word Frequency means: the number of times that something happens during a particular period”


The point here is, you can’t expect miracles with just 1 or 2 videos.  Show me the person who shoots 1 or 2 really professionally produced videos with all the cool intros and graphics versus the person who uploads a dozen videos from their smartphone with no fancy bells or whistles and you’ll see the smartphone person generate way more leads than 1 hit wonder.


How often you post it and WHEN you post that video or article will determine how well it will perform in this very competitive marketing space flooded with millions and millions of other articles, blogs, videos, emails, texts, pictures, etc…


So the first step is to figure out  how frequently you will be posting videos or articles on your blog, facebook fan page, etc…

[In a later article I’ll give you a few pointers on how to make sure your video is
as effective as possible. Or you can just access that information by checking out
this course ASAP


Next, make a decision to be consistent with that frequency.  If you make a decision to post every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday… BE CONSISTENT WITH THAT. Deciding WHAT to post is another story, I usually use “Lead Generation Mastery” to teach my new clients how to get some “Fast Start Momentum” using a few simple tricks.


Even if you set a goal to shoot 1 video a month, be consistent with that frequency!


You don’t know how many times I’ve seen people say that they are gonna shoot videos and upload EVERY DAY of their “90 day Challenge” (or anything similar) only to see them roll out the first video announcing their daily VLOG and the 2nd video usually comes in a few weeks later apologizing for not posting or being consistent with their video logs.  Again and again and again, the same story.


Go & do a search on youtube and you’ll quickly understand exactly what I’m saying.


So, today’s message boils down to Consistency and Frequency.

3 Quick Tips To Attract NEW Customers For Your Business

Customers. That’s where it’s at.

That’s where “walk away, residual income” lives.

Here are 3 Quick Tips to Attract NEW Customers for
your Business:

1) Tell potential customers that you are looking for
a NEW “Before & After” project.
Comment: Believe it or not, most people love the opportunity
to be a part of any type of project, experiment, etc…
They want the opportunity to be recognized as well. If anyone
denys this, they are lying. Plain and simple.

2) Post a “major blowout sale” coupon on your facebook page.
No matter what, major “blowout” sales attract attention. When
people couldn’t care less, now they are curious about purchasing
your product for the “what if I really end up needing this?” clause.

3) Offer upsell promotions to your current customers. Offer free shipping
if they get 1 new customer. Maybe some type of cash incentive
if they get 2 new cusomters.

That’s it.


p.s… I guess it should also be said that if you know how to correctly leverage
social media (Facebook, twitter, instagram, etc…) you dramatically increase
your chances of getting a steady stream of new volume. Here’s one of the best

How to get Success faster

I was recently having a great conversation
with a friend of mine that wasn’t having the
kind of success he’d like in his Network
Marketing Business.

He had a few interesting viewpoints on why
he wasn’t experiencing success despite his
galiant efforts.

When he asked me what I thought, I just simply
said “You just have to set smaller milestones
that lead to your goal and set newer goals faster.”

If you set large goals with NO milestones in between
you’ll most times end up setting yourself up
for failure and disappointment.

Here’s the takeaway:

1) Set milestone goals that is still in forward
motion. This will be in sync with your “large”
goal, but is more of a bite sized goal that is
usually a daily or weekly projection.

2) When you are near hitting your “large goal” you
should already be preparing to launch your NEW
goal so you don’t lose momentum.

Here’s a really interesting course that costs

When you travel to build your Business…

There are so many things that you can do to expand your business
nowdays without even coming close to jumping on a plane.

However, there are some things that you absolutely cannot replace.
You can’t replace the face to face relationship building part
of this business.

Side Note: If you are just purely an Internet Marketer and you
aren’t recruiting and building a team, you really don’t need to

I’ll just share a few key things that I always get done when
I travel to long distance lines that I have in my group.

Since I live in Hawaii and it requires me to jump on a plane,
I don’t have the freedom to hop in my car and drive for 5-7+ hours.


I always work on personally recruited lines in every city that
I go to. For instance, If I’m going to Los Angeles to do a group
Challenge Party / Meeting for “Team A”, I’m gonna make sure I also
personally prospect & recruit 1-2 people myself in that city to build a “Team B”.

I do that because now I can plug the different groups in together and
they can all synergize & help each other out, I also have more of a reason to
come back to that city since I have another couple mini groups out


I always stay at hotels that have a nice lobby or meeting
area. I ALWAYS stay at Starwood Hotels because I’m a platinum member.
This helps out because most of the Starwood Hotels (Sheraton, Westin, W, etc…)
always have some type of “Starwood Preferred Guests ONLY” floor that has
a cool lounge where you can meet up with folks.

Typically though, the lobby is usually the best bet unless you have large
events in that same hotel and the lobby is crawling with thousands of
people going in and out. That’s when I’ll head up to the much more exclusive
Platinum lounge.  It’s also a heck of a lot easier when you can just tell your
entire team that you’ll be down in the lobby from 10am to 3pm meeting up with
folks. I have found this way more effective than meeting at a really
crowded coffee shop. I love space.

This is probably the most important tip if you really want to help
the organization that you are flying up for. I have slipped on this a few
times and every single time that I’ve slipped on it, It has costed me
some serious money.

It has been said in this business, “You must INspect what you EXpect.”

If you are expecting your group to have a ton of folks to meet up with
while you are spending time and money in their city, you better inspect.

Too many times I see folks that get burned because they didn’t inspect
their long distance teams agenda and they ended up getting a sour taste
in their mouth for traveling long distance for their business…don’t
let this happen to you my friends!

Your MLM job and it’s paycheck

Often times, you will hear many network marketing fans, top producers, and industry trainers say that Network Marketing is 1000 times “better than a 9 to 5 job”.

I agree, it is.

However, in complete honesty, In a number of ways it’s identical to an hourly wage job. Since virtually any salary job sucks (no matter what it is) it wouldn’t be a good comparison model.

Let me explain by looking at a few comparisons…

With a job: if you don’t show up on time, you will most likely suffer some repercussions.

With MLM: if you don’t show up on time, you will most likely suffer some repercussions.

With a job: if you just “show up” and don’t actually DO SOMETHING productive, you get fired.

With MLM: if you just “show up” and don’t actually DO SOMETHING productive, your upline and potential prospects FIRE YOU.

With a job: if you don’t truly perform better than the rest of the employees, you don’t move up to higher positions.

With MLM: if you don’t truly perform better than the rest of the employees, you don’t move up to higher positions.

With a job: If you clock in & out and only worked 2-3 hours this week, you might not be delighted with your paycheck.

With MLM: If you clock in & out and only worked 2-3 hours this week, you might not be delighted with your check.

do so many people fail in this industry?”

I thought about it for a minute. Something about what she asked didn’t
really sit well with me. It took me a second to figure out what it was.

When I figured it out, I gave her my insight on her question. She got
misty eyed and truly felt my answer resonated with the reason why she
has been sticking in this industry despite so many setbacks.

When I finally had a few minutes, I flipped the camera on and

When To Cut Your Losses & RUN (Rated RT “real talk”)

Giving up and walking away from a Network Marketing business is
Considerably easier to walk away from when compared to a traditional
Business model because of the amount of risk & capital at stake.

Are you truly open for business?

In traditional Business, most times you will invest tens or hundreds of
Thousands of dollars to get it started. You are already starting off with
The mindset that you won’t be turning a profit for a little while.

Depending on some key factors in acquiring customers and generating
New sources of cashflow, that will depend on how fast you move into
A profitable stage.

In Network Marketing you are typically investing under $1,000 to get
Started in business. Most traditional business owners will laugh at that
Kind of business “start up” cost, but for most networkers that’s a pretty
Big deal. I own a traditional business, so I can say this.

We will bring in $20,000 worth of raw food product that we will sell that
Month… Well.. Let me rephrase– Hopefully sell that month. No Guarantees.

We hire employees and trust them to care for the product,
Prepare it on time, prepare it with pride, and serve it happily to our
Customers for a profit. Now, hopefully we have enough customers
Coming in and we are making our monthly investment back in profit.

Most Network Marketers will complain about their $125 a month
Autoship??? Seriously??

Most promoters / distributors in MLM have already made their
Initial investment back in their first couple months.

They were under the wrong expectation that EVERYONE they came in
Contact with would magically enroll and they’d be running to the
Bank with huge bank rolls and exotic sports cars.

Now with that being said, there are a number of traditional businesses
That are going out of business and shutting their doors on a daily
Basis.. It’s just business (or lack thereof).

Network Marketing is nothing different.

So the question… When do you cut your losses and run??

What Do You Do When Your Team Stops Moving?

It’s a really scary, uneasy thing when your team stops moving. I would love to
give you a long, drawn out answer to this dilemma but it’s pretty simple:


It’s easy to say and pretty simple logic, however, most people aren’t willing to dig
into the trenches and recruit like crazy and do it all over again.

Now, I know– I know.. “But what about the folks who still want to do the business
but just aren’t producing, Do I leave them behind??” you ask.

Easy Answer: NO. NEVER.

You never want to leave folks stranded. However, you always need to be working
with the newest people and always be there to help EVERYONE out that
needs you— UNDERLINE: THAT NEEDS YOU. (they know your ph number most times.
If they truly needed your help, they will call you.)

This is the reason why only small majority of folks will ever really make it past this
this turn.

To obtain Success in Business, you must be willing to dig hard and dig deep when the
occasion arises.

Some folks don’t really care to work this hard and having
the feeling of “doing it all over again” after seeing their
Business retract.

Donald Trump went Bankrupt a couple times and he loved the process
of building it up all over again. Some real estate investors
decided that the industry wasn’t for them…. others realize
that it’s just part of the deal and go at it.

Get out there and KILL IT in your Business!
